Moving

Towards a Cure

RUN DIPG supports medical and scientific research into how we may better treat DIPG/DMG. Taking 1 in 5 Australian children that die from cancer each year, we know supporting DIPG/DMG research is critical to keeping us moving towards a cure.

February 2024 saw us reach the incredible milestone of providing more than

$3 Million in DIPG/DMG Research Funding

A remarkable achievement as we enter our third year of registration as a charity, we are so proud of the RUN DIPG family of supporters that have made this possible.

We’ve got the $2 MILLION mark in our sights in 2022 – who’s with us?!

$336,000 in Scholarships

to foster the development of brilliant DMG/DIPG researchers.

$413,000 in Research Grants

supporting collaborative DMG/DIPG research projects.

$344,000 in equipment funding

supporting the work of the Dun Lab at The University of Newcastle, HMRI

DIPG Collaborative

RUN DIPG is a foundational partner of the DIPG Collaborative. Our membership commitment aligns RUN DIPG with a collection of foundations with the common interest of supporting DIPG research in a manner that reduces duplication and maximises outcomes.

This annual investment of $25,000 USD includes a $5000 USD donation toward the cost of holding the International DIPG Symposium and the remainder directed toward peer-reviewed, DIPG Collaborative-recommended research projects.
