DR DUCHATEL EDUCATES SUPPORTERS OF DIPG RESEARCH

July 2019 saw Dr Ryan Duchatel, post-doctoral researcher of Dr Dun’s laboratory, facilitate educational sessions for members of a community fundraising group touched by the story of the Dun family, their world rocked by 2-year-old Josephine’s DIPG diagnosis in February 2018.

With a dinner event scheduled for November 2019, each table of ten guests will be headed by a host now well-versed in DIPG and the necessity of finding improved treatments for such an aggressive cancer. The second event the group has held in 2019, funds raised are pledged to RUN DIPG in the hopes of supporting the research efforts of Dr Dun and the Cancer Signalling Research Group at the University of Newcastle.
